Do you believe in magic?

We look down upon a pair of liquid dark brown eyes and see an angel and a devil and everything in between.  As Barry Straza said to us “welcome to puppy-land”.

It all started years ago when my wife and I bought our first German Shepherd, 3 years old at the time, and we sought guidance in relating to her.  Enter Mr. Barry Straza, Master Dog Trainer.

Barry introduced us to training that was a whole new world of understanding and insight. He introduced us to the dog that we did not know.  The resultant relationship with our dog was deep, trusting and meaningful.  Then the unfortunate happened.  Our sweet, beautiful, loving Shepherd developed inoperable cancer and had to be euthanized.  Barry provided comfort and support.

A short while later and with a stroke of good luck, Barry’s breeding program had begun and his first litter of puppies, twelve in all, were born.  They had amazing ancestry and he chose the one that was suited to us, a female as we requested.  We were able to visit the litter when they were 7 and 8 weeks old and then we brought our puppy home at 9 weeks old.

“Dana” is her name, born on St. Patrick’s Day, and she has entered our hearts and home forever.

Through all the joy and challenges of rearing a puppy, Barry has been and continues to be there for us.  He is available by phone, text or email and even in person for advice, food, toys and facilitation.  We may have bought this beautiful creature but she is still very close to Barry’s heart.

We feel that are not alone because Barry is so readily available to help us through the stages of puppy development leading to an adult dog that can reach her full potential and be our best friend and protector.

The magic is in her eyes; the magic of good breeding, strength, confidence and joy and the magic of Barry who cares.
